Focus high: sexy over-the-knee boots

Over-the-knee boots were all over at the Fall 2009 runways and promised to be one of the big trends for up coming 2010. The boots come with socking-like and trouser-like appearances that look so sexy, powerful, and stylish.

From fashion desinger to film director

Tom Ford, for a long time best known for his incredible talent in fashion design as creating his own brand. Now, the former fashion director of Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci makes the leap to film with this writing-directing debut--"A Single Man".

“A Single Man” chronicles what could be the last day in the life of George, a college professor who lost his younger lover in an accident months earlier and is determined to end his life.

The film premiered on September 11, 2009 at the 66th Venice International Film Festival and was nominated for the Golden Lion. Colin Firth was awarded the Coppa Volpi for Best Actor at the film festival for his performance in the film.
"A Single Man" will have a limited release in the US to qualify for the 2010 Oscar nominations. The public can expect to watch the movie sometimes in the beginning of February 2010 both domestic and internationally.

The amazing red

When I was a kid, I constantly wondered why it is called "Little Red Riding Hood"? Why red,not other colors? After all these years addicted to fashion, finally I figured out my long time childhood puzzle. What would be better to express our passion than red? It symbolically illustrates the passion we have for life, for love, and for the future...We celebrate, we cheer, and we are fascinated...

Fashion designers definitely know how to use red...

How to be stylish in December?

December is already half way through. 2009 is finally approaching it's end. It is time to say goodbye to the past and celebrate the future... Fashion is always ahead of everything. The new season's fabulous trends are just around the corner... The door is slightly open so that I can almost poke my head in and have a peek...Oh no, 2009 is not totally over yet, focus...

Here are some tips that I really want to share with you all:

Tip 1: Embellish an outfit via lace.

Lace is making the come back. You can find lace clothing in plenty of bargain department stores right now. You can dress up this look with jewelry like lavalieres, brooches, or pearl earrings. Evening is another good time for the lace look.

If you think a dress is too much for you, then go for other accessories lace, such as clutch, tights, or shoes.

Tip 2: Experiment with cropped harem pants.

Billowy in the thigh, dropped in the crotch, and eye-catching in every way, harem pants are definitely still IN, IN, and IN. Just be sure to keep the whole thing looking chic by finishing off the look with some statement ankle boots or heels.

Tip 3: Mix a fancy sweater with a t-shirt.

This is definitely an easy way to have a dress up and down look. A worn-in tee with a transformable jacket, comfortable and chic.

Tip 4: Pick a red dress with a demure fit.

Admit it, we all love a red dress in the deep mind although it can be a little bit of challenge to wear.

I hope you'll find more than enough inspiration in these Tips to keep you well dressed right into the up coming new year.. Remember, it is never the end...
